Senior Professor in Islamic Studies at Center for Central Asian Studies (CCSA), an international research institute, University of Kashmir, India. Very recently he has been as promoted as the director of CCSA. He completed his M. Phil in 1986 on the research theme ‘Impact of the Quran on the Development of Religious Sciences’ and Ph.D. in 1992 on the research theme ‘Impact of the Quran on the Development of Social Sciences (from early Islamic to the end of Abbasid Period)’. Prof. Khaki has participated in many national and international seminars, conferences and workshops and has visited many countries like Iraq, Iran, Azerbaijan, Egypt, Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. Prof. Khaki has 22 year teaching experience in Islamic Studies and has made significant research contribution in the field of Islamic Sciences.
