Véronique Bénéï is an anthropologist and a Senior Research Fellow at the CNRS, affiliated to the Laboratoire d'Anthropologie des Institutions et des Organisations Sociales (LAIOS), Paris, and teaches at the Department of Anthropology, London School of Economics (LSE).
