Ardalan, Kavous

Kavous Ardalan is a Professor of Finance at the School of Management, Marist College, Poughkeepsie, NY. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara, USA and a PhD in Finance from York University, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. His research interests are in the theoretical, practical, educational, and philosophical aspects of Finance. He has received four distinguished research awards at national and international conferences. Two of his papers were recognized very highly by the publishers. Three of his papers have been referenced in the Handbook of Finance. Internationally, since 2000, he has been consistently ranked as one of the top 23 authors in both finance and economic education. His book is entitled On the Role of Paradigms in Finance.
